The Museum’s F1 simulators put on quite a show

The 2016 Ferrari Simulation Challenge finals took place at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello on Sunday, March 19. Competition was fierce and all the highly-skilled participants clocked record times on the Spa Francorchamps circuit.

Visitors to the Museum were also pleasantly surprised to be able to watch the exciting display which had as one of its stars, the Scuderia Ferrari’s third driver, Antonio Giovinazzi.

The final round was very close indeed with a head-to-head clash between the three top drivers of the day. The spectators were on tenterhooks for the duration as the race pace was fast and furious until the very last corner.

In the end, the top step of the podium went to Kevin Siggy Rebernak follow by Riccardo Chiesa (who finished third last year) and an on-form Enzo Garda. After the prize-giving, Antonio Giovinazzi complimented the drivers on the standard of their performance and emphasised also that anyone can experience the thrill of driving a real F1 single-seater just by sitting into the Museum’s simulators.

Next up is, of course, the 2017 championship which will be competed over the Barcelona circuit!
